Certification

A certificate is required to carry out any work on PowerShaper systems. We offer two tiers of online courses:

Tier 1 - Installation and physical maintenance
Allows for installation of PowerShaper systems

Tier 2 - Commissioning and annual maintenance
Enables access to the Gateway web interface

After passing the courses your certificate is registered in our network of certified partners (installers and distributors).

Recertification is required once per year for both Tier 1 and Tier 2 for the certificates to stay active.

Pixii certificates does not automatically grant you the right to install Pixii systems. You need to follow the regulations of the country you reside in regarding working on electrical installations.

Tier 1 - Installation and Physical Maintenance (online course)

Tier 1 - Installation and Physical Maintenance is an online self study course targeted towards installers looking to become certified Pixii installers.

A Tier 1 certificate is required for carrying out installations and maintenance of Pixii PowerShaper systems.

  • System and battery safety
  • Pre-installation information
  • Physical installation steps
  • Physical maintenance and component replacement
  • Final exam and certification

Tier 2 - Commissioning and Online Maintenance (online course)

Tier 2 - Commissioning and online maintenance is an online self study course mainly targeted towards distributors of Pixii systems who are looking to carry out commissioning independently. This course will give you the necessary guidance to be able to navigate the web interface and carry out a setup of PowerShaper2 systems.

A Tier 2 certificate is required for carrying out commissioning and configuration of system services, as well as online maintenance of PowerShaper2.

  • User configuration
  • Firmware updates of PixiiBoxes and Gateway control unit
  • Explanation of various system menus
  • Setup of system communication
  • Battery settings and configuration
